It may have only just clocked into November on the calendar, but with the clocks turned back, shop windows starting to look suspiciously festive, and New Year's Eve line-ups beginning to surface, there' s no escaping the fact that the end of the year is just around the corner. Question is - where will you be spending it?
If you're planning on seeing in the New Year in the Capital, then one strong contender has got to be London clubbing institution, Fabric. The underground venue has just announced the first wave of artists confirmed for their NYE bash, and it certainly doesn't disappoint.
Like their marathon birthday weekender earlier this month, they've lined up a series of guests who have played a part in the club's fifteen year legacy, including of course the club's two long-serving residents, Craig Richards and Terry Francis.
Island favourite Seth Troxler will also be back at the EC1 venue for the occasion, and joining him, Numbers boss – and all round musical chameleon – Jackmaster, on hand to ramp up the energy Glaswegian-style. Hotflush's Scuba has also been confirmed for the big night, along with House-loving duo, PBR Streetgang, who we saw gracing the decks at Space for We Love… this summer. Rounding off this eclectic line-up are long-term friends and studio-partners, Francesco ‘Clockwork' and Thomas ‘Avatism', with their live project and collaboration, CW/A.
So yes, you're going to be spoilt for choice for things to do on NYE, but with only a handful of their guests announced, we think Fabric's offering is already looking like a pretty strong candidate.
