Ibiza's winter restaurant deals continue apace with the launch in Santa Eulalia of the 15th edition of the annual “Gastrojueves”, or Gastro Thursdays offer. The event runs for over two months until 28 April with 16 participating restaurants offering the opportunity to sample some of the best food of what the town has to offer at half price on Thursday evenings.
This year's selection of restaurants offers everything from typical dishes of Ibiza to French, Italian, Chinese and Indian food to the some of the best grilled meat on the island. The town council wants to highlight that many establishments remain open during the winter; and, that Ibiza is a great all year round holiday choice with a great variety of local and international cuisines.
The popularity of last year's event has attracted more restaurants to take part this year than in previous years and include Rincón de Pepe, El Nido, Mamma Luisa, Royalty, Royal and India, Restaurante Chino Panda, El Naranjo, Peralta (San Carlos), Casa Juanito XTU, Abrásame, Rincon Latino, Crepería La Vie en Rose, Happy Carrot, Okinawa and Uttopia Resort.
The council is even providing two hours of free parking in a bid to attract people from wherever they are based on the island making it even easier to enjoy this special deal. It is advised to book ahead for this deal with restaurants expecting the event to be very popular and be advised that Maundy Thursday (24 March) is excluded from the deal.
All food including desserts benefit from the half price offer, and as a special reward, every customer will receive a voucher to attend a performance at the Teatro España cinema for half the normal price too.
