If you are looking to go to a family friendly party this Saturday, then the Ibiza Preservation Fund's (IPF) Christmas Party could be just the ticket as it promises a little bit of something for all and starts at midday, with free access for everyone.
The party is being held at organic restaurant EcoCentro in the heart of Santa Gertrudis. There's also live entertainment from the Casita Verde Sound System, a group of musicians and DJs, emanating from the green project of the same name. There's also going to be stalls with organic foods and some other goodies too.
Everyone gets a welcome drink as the IPF, which works to preserve Ibiza's natural beauty presents some of its key successful projects over the last year. This will be followed by a buffet lunch between 1-3pm, priced at €12 (€6 for kids) which offers a great way to sample EcoCentro's organic vegetarian food.
For children, Sunchildren, the holistic schools project will be hosting a kids area with activities that include making Christmas decorations from recycled materials and for children aged five and above there's a workshop on recycled instruments, followed by a singing and dancing session.
At 1.30pm, kids get an additional treat with a special guest appearance from Ana and Elsa from Frozen, organised by Ibiza Princess and Superhero Parties.
This year the IPF has had a big victory after winning the first stage of the battle to stop oil exploration around Ibiza and it has also supported the local economy in helping the San Antonio farmers collective purchase an almond cracking machine.
You'd be nuts not to go, plus you'll be supporting an organisation, which is helping to keep Ibiza special.
