Winter dates for Once Upon a Time Ibiza

Stylish winter market.

This Saturday sees the first of the winter edition of the well-established and original Once Upon a Time Ibiza market. The first of three events that will run until the end of the year starts this Saturday 21 November from 12pm to 8pm. The venue for the next two months only will be Lips Reartes beach club in Playa d'en Bossa; the mood and style will of course remain the same.

The market features the work of local and artists, craftsmen and designers. You'll also find stalls run by a more international set from places like Italy, France, Germany and the UK and more exotic places like Thailand.

Daniela, Luciano and Luana, who run the market wanted to create something a little different to the other markets on Ibiza; they wanted a place where people could share ideas as well as provide a wide variety of top quality items for sale. For the organisers, the market represents the crossroads of cultures that takes place on the island.

Once Upon a Time Ibiza is more fashion and art event combined and you'll find a stylish mix of clothing, beautiful gifts and jewellery. Stallholders will include Onrik Ibiza, La Nicchia Ibiza, Moka Express Clothing and Paunk Clothing. You can even get your tarot cards read by Lara Repetto Lavin, a brand new addition to the market this year. She also does palm readings and holistic consultations.

Lips Reartes is a beach club that is open all year round and located in the heart of Bossa. Its restaurant serves great Mediterranean food fused with international flavours and uses only local and seasonal produce. You can sample their great food whilst at the market with a special €20 set menu, including a main dish, dessert and drink included in the price.

The two additional markets in this winter edition take place on 19 and 28 December. The market will be returning to its original home of Hostal Boutique Salinas when it reopens for summer next year.

With only three dates left till next year, make sure you get this market on your calendar.
