Once to regrettably confirm the cancellation of an event and now, this latest edit, to share with you an extraordinary restaurant we discovered just after the original version of this article went live. The recently-opened La Petite Belgique in Marina Botafoch are offering a take-away service of their exquisite cuisine on Christmas Eve with a choice of two highly original set menus at a cost of €38 and €49 respectively…and the added bonus of a free bottle of Cava when you buy two menus. Please place your orders before 22nd December.
Reservations are essential for Christmas Day, when the restaurant will be open until 18.00 hrs, and also for New Years Eve when you can enjoy a set menu costing €80, including midnight party with DJ.

Event - Babylon Winter Wonderland Christmas Extravaganza
Christmas Market on Saturday 14th December from 13.00 hrs. Mulled wine, mince pies and fantastic Christmas gifts. From14.30 there will be Christmas activities for the kids (€5 entry per child), with Santa arriving at 17.00. An evening of children's' movies, live music and much more. Event - Ibiza Lodge 44 Fundraiser - A Day to Meet Santa Claus
An English-themed Christmas Charity party is being organised by the Masonic Lodge of Ibiza in order to help victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which destroyed large areas of the Phillippines. The event will take place on Saturday 14th December from 16.00 hrs at The Old Smugglers Inn in Cala de Bou. As well as supporting a worth-while cause, this promises to be an afternoon of fun for children and parents alike…Christmas carols, mulled wine, a raffle and a visit by Santa Claus who will bring a gift for all the kids. Admission is €3 per adult (includes a glass of mulled wine), and free for children.

Two Christmas set menus are available at La Cava for you to enjoy whilst celebrating with your colleagues and friends.
"Menu Colegas" consists of 6 first courses to share, two main courses to choose from, two choices of dessert, a jug of beer for two people or bottle of wine for three people, plus water and bread and alioli at €22.50 per head.
"Menu Amigos" offers four starters to share, two choices in main course, two choices of dessert, jug of beer for four people, or bottle of wine for four people, again with water and bread and alioli for just €18.50 per head.
With the exception of Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, when they will close at 19.00, La Cava opens from 0.900 to 02.00. Closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Food Factory in Sluiz, Santa Gertrudis takes place on Sunday 22nd December from 13.00 - 18.00. This is an opportunity for a variety of restaurants to present themselves to food lovers. There is no entrance fee, and non-professions can also enter for a small fee to sell their home-made goodies. Live music, bar and tapas will be being served at very reasonable prices.
