The time has come to start waving goodbye to certain parties until next season, and that's exactly what's happening at Sankeys in the coming weeks, when ABODE, Warriors, The Redlight and Dance 88/89 will bring their fiestas to a close, while Unusual Suspects and Tribal Sessions continue throughout the winter.
Kicking the closing spree off is Warriors on Sunday 25 September, which rightly sees head honcho Steve Lawler play an extended set. He'll be joined by the likes of Catz N Dogz, Deborah De Luca, Denney, Mark Jenkyns, Cristoph and Jamie Roy. Head home for some much needed time to recover and then, only a day later, you'll need to be back in the game for the closing of The Redlight. On Monday 26 September, house and garage legends Artful Dodger, Sonny Fodera, Low Steppa, Preditah and Flava D will join headliner Matt Jam Lamont to give the Monday night party a fitting summer send off.
The following Wednesday 28 September, Dance 88/89 takes us back to the old school one last time, with the likes of Alfredo, Bushwacka, Danny Rampling, Graeme Park and Mr C on the bill, giving us unforgettabable memories to go home with. And then last but not least, it's the ABODE closing party on Friday 30 September, which comes two weeks later than planned thanks to the party's popularity. Yousef, Franky Rizardo, ANOTR and Ellie Cocks are on the bill for this one.
Sankeys don't want to give you the blues too much, so Tribal Sessions and Unusual Suspects will continue long into the colder nights. A treat for those of you on the island in the winter months.
