After Maceo Plex's Mosaic pre-party at Pacha Ibiza a few weeks ago, we were all chomping at the bit for the island's newest residency to fully slide into gear. And that's especially the case now we've feasted our eyes on the line-ups for the rest of summer.
It's no secret that Maceo Plex has curated a mouthwatering selection of tastemakers for his first summer stint at Pacha; huge names including Adam Beyer, Agoria, DJ Koze, DJ Tennis and Maya Jane Coles, plus many more, were all confirmed early doors. But now we can safely say that Mosaic at Pacha is well on course to be one of the standout parties of summer, with some epic dates to pencil into your diary and firmly underline.
Pacha's infamous Funky Room will be rechristened Prism Room on Tuesday nights in 2016, and on 14th June you'll be able to get up close and personal with Steffi and Virginia, who'll be making much-anticipated and rare appearances on the island. On 12th July you'll have Plex, Len Faki and Bicep all playing the Main Room, while Stephan Bodzin live is one to look out for on 16th August. John Talabot and Pantha Du Prince will be teaming up with Plex in the Main Room on 6th September, while we can expect to be transported to a trip-happy world of timelessness by Damian Lazarus and Acid Pauli on 13th September. There'll also be a label showcases in Prism Room throughout summer from Plex's own, Ellum, as well as Kompact, Keinemusic, Live at Robert Johnson and Permanent Vacation.
These are indisputably some of the most inspiring line-ups Ibiza has been subjected to in some time, and if all goes to plan, Plex is set to shake up the island's soundscape in incontrovertible style. Catch a slice of history in the making from 24th May to 4th October.
