Bass junkies - grab a biscuit and assemble - because have we got a tasty treat of an announcement in store for you. Ibiza Rocks Hotel has this morning dropped its Friday night billing for We Are Rockstars, and it's as heavy as you've come to expect from the pioneers of fresh sounds on the White Isle.
Kicking off on Friday 3rd June and then pounding your ear drums right through to 16th September, the line-up is a testament to all that's hot in the worlds of house, drum & bass, garage and grime, so be ready for some serious poolside skanking this summer. Heading the bill are names including the one and only DJ EZ, who'll be bringing his inimitable style to the island to celebrate We Are Rockstars fifth birthday on 15th July, bassline queen, Hannah Wants, drum & bass superstars, Sigma, master of reggae, David Rodigan, Example and DJ Wire - who'll be back for three shows throughout 2016, Wilkinson, who headed up last year's opening party, West London collective, Kurupt FM, who'll be making their Champagne Steam Rooms debut, as well as giants of grime, Wiley & Slimzee.
There'll also be performances from Apexape, DJ Luck and MC Neat, Ms Dynamite, Mistajam, Novelist, Preditah, Sister Bliss and So Solid Crew, among many, many more. And of course all these join the so hot it hurts Stomzy, who's bringing his already confirmed #Merky residency to the venue for a total of four weeks.
