You've been teased with a trickle of details from the Cream camp over the past few weeks - we've had news of Fatboy Slim's first residency and the return of Above & Beyond and Paul van Dyk - and now we've got the full plan for summer 2016 in all its glory.
Today, Cream released its near full line-up for the season, with only a few artists yet to be confirmed. Aside from the superstars already mentioned, we'll be seeing the return of other Cream favourites in the form of Aly & Fila, John O' Callaghan, Cosmic Gate, Markus Schulz and Boys Noize.
Special dates to highlight are that of EDM anthem creator Steve Aoki, who landed at Amnesia last year and will be back on the terrace for three sessions on 16th June, 14th July and 1st September. Island veteran Ferry Corsten will fly in to take over the main room on 16th June, 4th August and for the closing party on 15th September. There'll be a very special one-off appearance from the legendary Paul Oakenfold to celebrate Cream's birthday on 28th July. Electronic outfit Knife Party will be on hand for an exclusive Cream appearance on 11th August, as will prolific producer Diplo on 8th September. And if all that wasn't enough to get you salivating, prince of trance Armin van Buuren has been confirmed for a show-stopping appearance on 7th July - one of only five Ibiza dates he's announced so far this season.
So predictably, it looks set to be yet another year in which Cream cements its dominance on the White Isle. And now we'll leave you to digest and savour the finer details of the line-ups yourselves. Happy Thursday.
