Tribal Sessions locks down its line-up

Alien life forms to dance to the beat of Tribal Sessions' drum this season.

Under an alien guise Tribal Sessions is returning for its third season, making history as the longest weekly summer residency ever on Ibiza's shores, and the line-ups have just broken through the ozone layer. Sankeys Sabados presents Tribal Sessions will belong to the tribal clan for a massive 26 weeks from 7th May until 29th October. The team behind Sankeys Sabados dedicated their winter fiestas to showcasing breaking female talent and it's swooping into the summer season with another cutting-edge music policy that supports fresh faces regardless of gender or creed.

The season leading 12-hour opening session will see special guest and legendary The Redlight resident Matt Jam Lamont show off his darker leanings, alongside renowned house producer Josh Butler, Tribal Sessions mainstay Jozef K, Ibiza native and winner of best newcomer at the DJ Awards Manu Gonzalez and hotly tipped new arrival Kellie Allen, who stormed in as the first winner of the Sankeys Sabados competition. More female winners will be added to the roster and will play under The Ibiza Project that will lay down the very best Ibiza talent every week in Spektrum and The Boutique.

Winner of Sankeys' own ‘best house DJ' award, Miguel Campbell, kicks his 13-week residency into action on 14th May with him presenting his Outcross Records label to the basement heavy as it paces through the months to its 10th anniversary in October. Across his 13 dates he'll be inviting an Outcross artist to the booth, with the first of these being Minota – also on 14th May. Representing their label is Riton, an artist whose latest club slammer 'Rinse Repeat' has been both rinsed and repeated across the globe. He's secured eight Tribal Sessions showdowns (starting 25th June until 9th August) to release his finesse on the controls and represent his label Riton Time.

Elsewhere on the meaty bill we've got Pan-Atlantic chart topper Secondcity, Lee Walker whose remix of DJ Deeon's ‘Freak like Me' was recently championed as Annie Mac's Hottest Track on the Planet on Radio 1, Ed Banger records head honcho Busy P, Banger's label mate Boston Bun, 2015's Music On star Hector, German giants Tube & Berger, Spanish luminary UNER and UK talent Bontan.

We briefly gave you a hint that for this year's Tribal Sessions theme we'll be looking beyond planet earth and into the solar system. ‘Alien Avatar' is the concept that'll be shining a blue torch over the basement club every Saturday and as you're reading this, an alien jungle is already well under construction for every earthling who can't resist getting back to that rebellious nature of the illegal Tribal Gathering raves of the ‘90s.

We can't speak for the music taste of blue-skinned creepers, but we're pretty confident they'll have a belter with this assemblage of booth creatures.
