Cocoon confirm full season dates

All hail Papa Sven, who of course, has delivered the news we all wanted to hear pre-summer - that in 2016, Cocoon will be back at Amnesia for its longest season ever. Just quite how we'll find the stamina to rock up to 19 weeks of Monday sessions with the big man is yet to be revealed, but it's fair to say we're excited by the challenge. So, from 30th May to 3rd October, this is where you'll find us, and great news for you lot is that early bird tickets are now on sale for a meagre €41, so you can join too. Happy Easter.

Pukka Up parties on in 2016

The island's most infamous boat party gang will be taking majestically to the waves each and every Friday from 3rd June. And this season, there are all kinds of extras thrown in with the price of your ticket. Go for the ‘Day' option, and for €49 you'll bag entry to Ocean Beach Ibiza the following day, or snap up the ‘Night' ticket, and post sunset you can continue the party at Insane at Pacha and then roll to Ocean Beach come sunrise. Needless to say, they're expecting you to party hard. We know you can do it.

The Redlight line-ups revealed

A standout success from the Sankeys line-up in 2015, garage and house lovers rejoice - The Redlight has announced its opening party with none other than DJ EZ at the helm. All set for Monday 30th May, he'll be joined in the LAB by Matt Jam Lamont and Flava D. Kicking things off in the Basement will be Sonny Fodera, Sam Divine and Low Steppa. This summer there'll also be appearances from the legendary Todd Terry and Todd Edwards, who'll be back for one show, as well as Shadow Child and DJ Luck and MC Neat. A-team unite.

Solomun +1 returns to Pacha

It's good news for devotees of the Diynamic boss, who's revealed he'll be back for a third season at Pacha with his much-loved Solomun +1 party. With one solitary sidekick each week, he'll take position in the middle of the Pacha dance floor, ruthlessly rain down with funky, dirty techno and then end the night going b2b with his chosen compadre. The opening is set for Sunday 22nd May, and will run until 9th October. Yes, that's 21 dates. Take your pick.

Axwell Λ Ingrosso are back and bigger than ever

Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, of Swedish House Mafia fame, will return to Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel this summer to deliver what's sure to be another rip-roaring rollercoaster of a ride. Making their first 2016 appearance on 6th July, you can expect a soaring selection of big hits and slick production right the way through to 7th September. Prepare to jump around like loons for the duration.

Ibiza Rocks actually rocks

Champions of new talent and long-standing bringers of the best live music to the white isle, you can always rely on Ibiza Rocks to deliver the goods. And lo, last week a juicy line-up of some of the most exciting and respected names in music was announced. Mercury-nominated Slaves will kickstart the season on 15th May, three-time Grammy Award winners and all round legends, LCD Soundsystem will front the venue's birthday party on 6th July, and there'll be returns from Kaiser Chiefs (5th August), Faithless (31st August) and Tinie Tempah (27th July). Major Lazer Soundsystem will break their Ibiza duck on 13th July, so now's the time to start practicing that dutty wine.
