Do Not Sleep joined us last year at the Vista Club, Privilege, as a breakaway party that proved risks pay off. With sell out parties, the residency hit the spot, so much so, that after its closing Do Not Sleep was invited to Space for one final night of the top shelf tech house stuff. With this final gig also being a sell out, the potential of Do Not Sleep was realised and its impact has secured it a spot as a Space resident in 2016.
On Sunday 5th June Do Not Sleep will embark on its 16-week residency by hosting the world famous Terraza for 12 weeks, before moving inside to the belly of the club at the Discoteca for 4 weeks. Rather excitingly, Do Not Sleep will be sharing the club with ultimate Balearic fiesta, We Love Space. We can only imagine that it's an absolute honour for the DNS crew to be invited to run side by side with a residency of such character and notoriety, and also be a part of celebrating the club's 27th Birthday. All of this just a year on from its debut, it's a huge triumph for Do Not Sleep. They'll be able to recreate their energy, every week, in another of Ibiza's institutions, with the vibes that gained it a legion of loyal followers, and we expect many more to come.
Do Not Sleep takes a stand against the VIP culture with its ethos being based on the principle that we should all be in the same position when soaking up the best in techno and house music. Musically it's all about the specially invited guests and residents, and the Do Not Sleep curators have put together an unmissable line up which we'll be releasing soon.
It left 2015 on a total high and with a UK & European warm up tour about to drop, we'll be seeing them bouncing onto the island ready to take the reigns with some serious rigor.
