That little treasure cove of a haven, Pikes Hotel, is all set to host a very special party that is a MUST for the calendar penciling. The hillside haunt full of the weird and wonderful is welcoming back Music For Freaks record label which is relaunching after a six year hiatus. Couldn't be a more perfect match.
For those unfamiliar with Music For Freaks, it's the imprint child of Justin Harris and Luke Solomon who are together known as Freaks. Crashing onto the scene in 1999, it became one of the freshest and quirkiest labels of its time with beast tracks of their own and from some of the knock-out creators of the noughties, including the late and great Kenny Hawkes, Turner, Rob Mello, Zoo Brazil, Mark Farina and more.
What's the pike planted occasion? They're crusading back on the scene with the label to blast our ears with the ‘Let's Do It Again Part 1' EP which features remixes from Ricardo Villalobos and Tuff City Kids.
