Ibiza Rocks House Party at Pikes opening and birthday bash

A world with more attitude, more authenticity, more atmosphere and more fun.

After charging into Pacha last summer with its loaded pleasure dome of musically charged house party chaos, Ibiza Rocks House Party returns to its home, Pikes Hotel, once more for a weekly assault on normality.

This Saturday will see the letterbox pushed back and the door knocker chapped for its opening party and a monumental milestone - Pikes 35th Birthday bash. Promising to put the surprise back into Saturdays in its weekly adult fairground of frivolity, you'll not be expected to ring the service bell for attention aids at this affair.

As customary traditions have it, the incredible cast of characters of the House will be back with an army of musicians, DJs, performers and dancers to guarantee your night is filled with magically memorable moments and unforgettable memories - memories best depicted to your grandkids through a mangling of interpretive dance in years to come.

Saturdays will begin as guests dine from 8pm to the sounds of island hero Paco Fernandez and his full live band and flamenco show. As the big hand and the wee hand slowly come together to strike midnight, the surprise appearances will begin and they won't relent until the wee small hours. Sounds like a threat - and it probably is.

I think the above has been enticing enough, but if you're a difficult banana to peel, the Wheel of Fortune, flamingo-filled outdoor terrace, Mirrorball Man and Sunnys infamous Bathtub Karaoke in the playful Freddie's suite, will surely have you pulling your socks up for a peeping Tom peek. Also prepare to beware of The Pikes Bunnies and The Savage Girls in the secret Potting Shed, before you turn a corner and stumble across spontaneous Crazy Piano sing-alongs with Robert Campoli.

The eccentric charm of the House will be fused with flamboyant fancy dress from Sunnys Boudoir and theatrical spirit from operatic drag queen Tom as The Fat Lady Sings during impromptu performances. Musically, the House Party soundtrack is on point with some of the best future disco and real house DJs including a rare island visit from Ibiza pioneer Danny Rampling and Ben Pearce.

Get your inflatable diamond duster and plasticine potato peeler out, sounds like its going to be the definition of eccentrically epic.
