It's been a long time since the stories about Sankeys Ibiza have taken a 'this club is going to be great in the coming seasons' direction. Now, the club is very much cemented into the island's club circuit and holds as much respect as the other, more well established, venues. Rightly so, too.
Their 2014 season has been another success story, with many nights doing really well, some surprises along the way and all round positives vibes about the place. The opening party is always a special event, but the closing - taking palce this year on Wednesday 8th October - is something on another level. By the time Sankeys gets round to saying goodbye and thanks for another season, many people have been to several closing parties already. This lends a special atmosphere to the Sankeys closing, particularly as they celebrate 20 years of Sankeys internationally, as those in attendance are the real music fans.
Sankeys will go out hand in hand with some of the artists who have helped make the club so successful year on year. Names include Duke Dumont of Blasé Boys Club, Amine Edge & DANCE of CUFF, Darius Syrossian of Tribal Sessions, Shlomi Aber, DJ Sneak, Sidney Charles, Just Be (Bushwacka!), Jozef K, island representatives Andy Baxter and Manu Gonzalez plus some very special unannounced guests.
Tickets are on sale now for 40€ with a starting time slated for 10pm. This will be a long player, so prepare yourself for the marathon.
Also, don't forget to vote in the Sankeys Awards, you've got until September 28th.
