Those fortunate to be on Ibiza over the last few weeks will have been checking out the various openings parties from the smaller, less techno orientated, venues on the island. In the last few weeks KM5, Bambuddha and indeed Sands have opened the doors and removed the sand from their front steps as they welcomed in the first punters of the 2014 season.
Sands is the focus of this piece though as they opened on Sunday 13th April with music, food and drinks being enjoyed all day long at their new home for 2014 onwards formerly known as Scirocco. You can find the new beach bar and restaurant further along the Playa d'en Bossa beach.
The warm up for the summer season continues at the start of May - Sunday the 3rd to be exact - as Sands throws another party with some of the islands favourite resident DJs. We have Clara Da Costa, Andy Baxter, Jason Bye, Ken Fan and Manu Gonzalez.
Head down from the early afternoon onwards, check out the world class menu designed by Michelin starred chef Tim Payne, and ease yourself into what is set to be one of the most hectic Ibiza seasons to date. Entry is free.
