First four Carl Cox at Space lineups revealed

Tuesdays at Space Ibiza are looking better than ever. First four lineups here folks.

We have the first four lineups for the 14 week residency on Tuesdays at Space Ibiza with Carl and his 'Music Is Revolution' party. As we have said before, the party has adapted over the course of its 12 year history on the island, evolving and spurring a revolution in partying and how the music is put forward in itself.

Naturally, some of the old favourites from Coxy parties of the past will be back in 2014, but with some crucial new additions to keep things fresh. Consistency is the key though, and if you're 12 years into a project you know you're doing something right. The parties kick off on Tuesday 24th June running until Tuesday 23rd September. Tickets are priced at 45€ and are available via the calendar below or the link on the right of this page.

So, the lineups.

Tuesday 24th June | Carl Cox 10 hour set, Danny Tenaglia and Uner.

What better what to start than with three legends of the dance music scene. Carl Cox launches the season with a monster 10 hour set - all night long baby! The man has legendary stamina behind the decks and the discoteca will be treated to a proper musical journey throughout the night, no doubt. Joining him is one of New York's finest - Danny Tenaglia. Everyone panicked and had a little cry when he announced he was retiring from the circuit a few years ago, thankfully it was just a brief pause for breath and he has been back and on form ever since. If only we could convince Coxy and Tenaglia to go back-to-back for a while... that would be something. Lastly we have one of, if not the, best Spanish DJ's on the circuit at the moment in Uner. Ever since the release of 'Pallene' and 'Cocoua' on Luciano's Cadenza imprint things have been steadily growing for the DJ and Ibiza wouldn't be the same without him.

Tuesday 1st July | Carl Cox, Dyed Soundorom, Tania Vulcano, Laurent Garnier and Yousef.

Of course, Carl Cox tops the bill on this, the second night of his Ibiza residency at Space. Next up we have Dyed Soundorom, one third of the mighty Apollonia massive who hail from Paris and are ambassadors for their unique sound. Dyed is a regular at the likes of DC10 for many years now but he has been spreading his wings to parties such as Carl's and everyone loves his style - just watch the dude groove behind the decks, he's feeling it! Another DC10 representative is Tania Vulcano. The first lady of Circo Loco... she helped put the club on the map and enjoys a huge amount of respect from punters and DJs alike. One of the finest names in electronic music is Laurent Garnier, there is no doubting that, and Coxy has signed him up exclusively on Ibiza. Sure, his 'Man With The Red Face' and 'Gnanmankoudji' tracks are some of the most epic dance tracks of all time, but a few hours or more with the Frenchman will expand your musical boundaries and knowledge to the next level. Last up is the long-serving Coxy resident in Yousef. A headline DJ in his own right in running a record label and his own party - Circus - this Liverpool born maestro works wonders in the DJ booth.

Arms in the air moment for la Terraza at Carl Cox's Revolution last season.

Tuesday 8th July | Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Umek, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Just Be and Oliver Moon.

Things get a little tougher (musically) this week with Coxy up front, the talented, tall, techno loving, Drumcode fronting Adam Beyer following close behind. Beyer is Swedish and comes from an entirely different breed of artist than say... the Swedish House Mafia, but there is no denying the country has a thing for putting out quality electronic artists. Probably all that snow making them stay in. Slovenia, not exactly known for its DJ exports, gave us Umek back in the early 90s and he has been going ever since. He is a regular at Coxy's parties, having played each season for a few years now, but in testament to his skills he is back again in 2014. Fritz Kalkbrenner, brother to Paul, and part of a family whose passion has long been making and performing music to the masses. Fritz is a hugely talented vocalist and producer and this is a great booking for the team. Next up we have Just Be, one half of the former Layo & Bushwacka (he was the bushy one). Going their separate ways a few years ago, Just Be has been a prolific artist popping up at parties and venues all around the world to much joy from those who have seen him. Lastly we have Oliver Moon - new boy on the scene and being given his big chance to move from London gigs to the big stage on Ibiza.

Tuesday 15th July | Carl Cox, Pan-Pot, Mano Le Tough, Todd Terry and Rudimental (dj set)

The last of the four lineups revealed so far is massive. Although it is difficult to say which is the biggest of the four, this has a fair claim to that title. Pan-Pot are a German duo most often seen playing with Marco Carola (don't forget, he will play at Coxy's party this season, date TBA) for Music On at Amnesia. They are pure techno as it should be, thriving off each others drive in the DJ booth. Mano Le Tough has been a name anyone with a good taste in music will have been shouting about for a while now. We love him, supporting his music and his DJ sets over the course of last season - this is an artists you won't want to miss. Todd Terry is perhaps a name not everyone will be familiar with having starting DJing back in the late 60s. Rather than trying to explain why this is such a good booking, YouTube him and have a listen to some of his tracks. 'Can You Feel It', 'Somethings Going On' and the like are ones to look out for. Last up we have a DJ set by the much loved Rudimental. Perhaps not such a hit with the underground crew, but the group of lads from Hackney London boast a massive amount of support and are not one to miss.
