San Antonio Gastronomy: Spring Menu

Now that winter's over it's time for San Antonio to celebrate with its second spring food festival Primavera Gastronomica.

Now that winter's over it's time for San Antonio to celebrate with its second spring food festival Primavera Gastronomica. Fifteen of the town's eateries will be providing a special three course 'Spring' menu for an extremely economical €14 plus drinks!

In keeping with the change in the weather to longer sunnier days and warmer evenings, the restaurants will emphasise the lighter ingredients now coming into season and the menus contain lots of fish, chicken, salads, fruits and vegetables and in fact, a good many dishes would be suitable for the vegetarians amongst us.

This year the dates to remember are the 26th April to 31st May so it's not just the locals who'll get to sample some of the really fine food on offer in San Antonio this time!

The restaurants involved are; Sa Punta de Moli, Stephan, Villa Manchega, Villa Mercedes (photo), Zebra Art & Grill, El Quijote, Es Mirai, Grill Sant Antoni, Hostal La Torre, Marla Cafe, Meson Abad, Mint, Pizzeria Galeon, Pizzeria Piazza San Marco and S'Avaradero, and they'll have the menu on offer on different days at either lunch, dinner or both.

A helpful, downloadable PDF is available (coming soon) with all the dishes and times and to make life easier here's my simple Spanish to English translator if you don't understand Spanish

Mediodia – Lunch, Noche – Dinner, L – Monday, M – Tuesday, X – Wednesday, J – Thursday, V – Don't Know, S – Saturday, D – Sunday.

Enjoy!
