Santa Eulalia, Ibiza's river city, always pulls out all the stops to celebrate the arrival of summer with its traditional May Fiesta. This year there's good food and fun to be had on 1st May – a public holiday – in the town when the gastrofest 'Sa Cuina va a Maig' takes over the main square near the town hall, the Paseo de S'Alamera.
It's an opportunity for lots of restaurants based in and around Santa Eulalia to show off their expertise and delicious food on the stalls lining the paseo. All the food will be economically priced to attract as many people as possible to sample what's on offer and hopefully visit the restaurants themselves in the future – great marketing!
The following eateries are involved: Anibal, Ca Na Ribes, Celler Can Pere, Chicho's, La Vie En Rose, Bacaro, El Naranjo, Es Farallo, Es Pins, Juanito, La Rambla, Tabernetta, Lina, Los Ibericos, Mezzanotte, Punto Gastro, Rincon de Pepe, Royalty, Sal Marina, Samovar and Sapori-Divini.
And if that wasn't enough there's live music on all day from 13.00 until 22.00!
Sounds like a good day to me.
