Ear plugs recommended this coming Monday at Eden, as a brand new residency heralds a new era in San Antonio.
Drum & Bass enthusiast Louder is bringing the genre back to the island, to take its rightful place alongside more established dance music.
After the departure of long running Together, there had definitely been something missing from Ibiza's clubbing landscape. Thankfully, Eden's commitment to diversifying its weekly programme introduces Louder to plug the gap.
Set to launch on 6 June, here's a closer look at the opening party.
Chase & Status
Together with MC Rage, Saul Milton and Will Kennard, better known as Chase & Status, are the most combative force in D&B. Their huge RTRN II JUNGLE campaign saw them going back to their roots, after earlier dabbling with Dubstep, House and Breakbeat.
Whether it's been at Ibiza Rocks or at Amnesia, the trio have a storied history on Ibiza. Never failing to rip-up the dancefloor, they are proof the island is about so much more than linear 4/4 dance music played at 125 bpm.
Whether at a festival or in a club, few acts command their stage presence quite like Chase & Status. They will be bringing the heat to Louder on Mondays.
As well as the opening party, Chase & Status are back a further nine times.
Hybrid Minds
Largely responsible for reinvigorating the Liquid D&B scene, Hybrid Minds join Chase & Status on Monday's inaugural dance. Since starting the project, Josh and Matt have won a legion of fans thanks to their melodic take on the genre.
Before the pandemic struck, the duo were set for a 2020 residency at Eden, so this appearance - the first of six scheduled dates, feels like a long time coming.
Perhaps there's a suggestion that Hybrid Minds have the tools to open Drum & Bass up to new ears. If their track selection in their recently submitted playlist (see below) is anything to go by, there's plenty there to lure in the most casual of fans.
With the slate wiped clean after two years of lockdowns, we can't think of a better time or better DJs to reset the status quo.
If you still need some convincing, then give our Louder playlist a vigorous seeing to. It's been especially chosen by Hybrid Minds.

With Eden having a large market of British and Irish tourists right on its doorstep, Louder is sure to packed week-in, week-out.
We want to see you moshing on the dancefloor with the rest of the frenzied revellers.
