Last week, Amnesia teased us by announcing the first few names for its closing party on Saturday 5 October. It turns out we didn't have to wait long to find out the rest of the details. The full line-up is now out - and it's a cracker.
To recap on the previously reported news, Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos headline the terrace going back-to-back, while Nina Kraviz was the first name playing next door - dubbed the techno room.
Focusing first on the terrace, mighty Dane, Kölsch is back at Amnesia. The Kompakt records mainstay known for his melancholic tones could be found at elrow throughout its 2019 campaign. There he's joined by tech house supremo and Trick records' boss, Patrick Topping.
FUSE resident Archie Hamilton returns to an old stomping ground, with Amnesia residents Caal, Cuartero and Mar-T also playing - the latter two playing b2b.
John Woods, resident at short-lived mid-season foray People From Ibiza, completes the room.
Back in the techno room, Nina is joined by Brazilian princess ANNA and Marco Faraone. She plays the Cocoon closing five days earlier, while Italian Faraone can be found at Do Not Sleep.
Amnesia's own Luca Donzelli provides further support, while there is also a role for another in-house talent in Les Schmitz.
Evidently, this is about bringing all the best elements from Amnesia's weekly programme and uniting them for one epic party.
All this makes this one of the biggest Amnesia closing party line-ups in recent memory.
With 14 artists on the bill, this is shaping up to be quite the send off for Amnesia's 2019 season. Opening times are still to be confirmed, so look out here for those.
