This 2019 sees a legendary Ibiza party enter unchartered territory after a prolonged period of stability. David Guetta's influential F*** ME I'M FAMOUS! ups sticks to Hï and even moves from Thursdays to a new Friday position. Already well hyped, the party has now revealed its line-ups.
Making his presence felt, David is scheduled for two sets at every single event - great value for fans of the super-producer and DJ icon. Naturally, you can expect him to close the Theatre each week with a production-laced spectacular.
Despite being in a brand new home after more than a decade at Pacha, David Guetta invites back a raft of names that he helped established there. Ignition is set for Friday 7 June, where Alesso is the big guest at the glitzy opening party.
Throughout the rest of June you can catch Afrojack, Robin Schulz and Don Diablo in that order. Heading into July the calibre of guests does not wane, with Jax Jones, Oliver Heldens, Cedric Gervais and a second showing for sometime Guetta understudy, Robin Schulz.
Peak season continues to supply the heavyweights. MK, Jonas Blue and Tchami all land at the venue in August, while Afrojack and Schulz return. September sees Lost Frequencies and Disciples get their call-up, with Jonas Blue and Don Diablo back once more.
Finally, the closing party on 4 October will witness Bob Sinclar make a third appearance in the Theatre alongside Daddy's Groove for the ultimate finale.
Other names that will perform during the 18-week campaign, include Tom Staar, Morten and Brooks (four each), plus Glowinthedark (twice).
If you happened to miss the news from earlier, one intriguing aspect of this residency that gives it an edge over others is that the host plays twice. David Guetta will also perform under his Jack Back alias in the club room. If that were not enough, the guests also rock.
Hollywood actor and multi-talented Idris Elba is the blockbuster name joining David under his tech-house moniker, almost every week. The exception being 7 June, where Frenchman Bob Sinclar is a more than adequate substitute.
Luther-star, Elba is no stranger to Ibiza, having appeared at Pikes, Pacha and Lío in years gone by. Increasing Balearic influence, veteran islander Paul Reynolds is also onboard for every date.
While Paul regularly propped up the Wild Corner in the last two summers, his pedigree and experience more than warrant this promotion. After all, he held residency in this building for many years in its former incarnation.
In the main room, JP Candela is on warm-up duties each and every week, adding further continuity to an impeccably programmed residency.
A change of scenery, it may be, but a lot of consideration has gone into making the debut year at Hï one to remember. We expect nothing less than slammed dance floors week in, week out.
If this one is on your agenda, then purchasing tickets in advance is strongly advisable. Select your dates below and be prepared that some of them will almost certainly sell out ahead of the day.
