ANTS has dropped the line-ups for its mammoth 18-week Saturday residency at Ushuaïa. Its schedule is known for featuring some of the biggest names in house and tech and this year's offering is certainly no exception. Its seventh year on the island is set to be the biggest yet.
Soon we'll be dancing once again amongst the iconic lycra-clad ants. Here's a taste of what awaits.
Firm ANTS favourite Andrea Oliva will feature in all but five dates. Nic Fanciulli makes a one-off appearance and Ibiza veterans Groove Armada will play when the colony returns on Saturday 1 June.
On Saturday 27 July DJ and producer Maya Jane Coles and Lauren Lane will bring their strong tech sound to Ushuaïa. They're joined by Raúl Rodríguez and Canadian DJ Tiga. And it doesn't stop.
We're in good hands on Saturday 3 August with Pete Tong, Secondcity and Eli & Fur forming a solid and trustworthy arrangement.
A notable date includes Saturday 10 August where ANTS hosts a Loco Dice birthday special. Though, sit tight, artists are yet to be announced.
Throughout the season support comes from Solardo, Dublin and Steve Lawler who will also bring the residency to a close on Saturday 28 September.
On top of it all, the new "ANTS Metropolis" concept for 2019 will change the natural décor and visuals into a swarming underground city. Ushuaïa will transform into an industrial mega-city in an upside-down world as the all-star cast of ants moves from the animal kingdom to the city. Get down.
