Urban In Ibiza has established itself as one of the most talked about and hotly anticipated cultural events of the season thanks to its innovative and thought-provoking mix of art culture, including paint, sculpture, fashion and music. With ten successful events under its belt, the 10th anniversary will certainly be one for the books.
Curated by founder and respected London gallery director Paul Dizzi Saunders, the event sees the movers and shakers of the island and Ibiza visitors in the know turn out in force to celebrate the arrival of the showcase every year.
This time around, the exclusive island venue HEART Ibiza will be hosting the 2018 exhibition every Saturday evening throughout the month of August. The residency kicks off on Saturday 4 August and runs from 21:00 until late. Urban art and fashion lovers, get yourself down there!
The extraordinary exhibition, appropriately entitled EXODUS, will be Urban In Ibiza's last on the island. Shift your plans around if this date isn't already highlighted several times in your calendar and make room for this unmissable event.
This year sounds very tasty indeed and will be the final opportunity to admire and purchase the latest works from London Westbank Gallery and its stable of artists. Here is a little taster of went down at last year's exhibition at Atzaró.
Plenty more is in store this summer. Capturing the imagination of islanders, international artists including Inkie, Fin Dac and Ben Slow will be painting live for attendees. These three have been iconic names involved in Urban In Ibiza since it took the White Isle by storm in 2009.
The much-loved event will also boast artwork from the likes of K-Guy, Jim Starr, Ben Allen, RYCA, Cosmo Sarsen, Paul McGowan, Carne Griffith, Carrie Reichart and many more with artworks on rotation over the four pop-up EXODUS exhibitions.
Fashion highlights this month include the showcase of the latest pieces from the jewellery range, Charmed Offensive.
Expect a circus of art, music and fashion with catwalks and epic music performances to make for a buzzing atmosphere. Previously, Urban In Ibiza has brought a hugely impressive hoard of urban art in all its forms to the island.
This series of events is a rare opportunity to see this diverse collection of artists all housed under one roof and the chance to snap up a one-off creation in the stunning HEART Ibiza, the ultimate backdrop for Urban In Ibiza.
Before heading home, Urban In Ibiza will be returning to the charming Aiyanna Ibiza from 8 to 10 September for more live painting and breathtaking masterpieces complementing the prestigious location with artwork showcased both in and outside the beachfront venue.
Finally, on 15 September, the concluding extravaganza titled SWAN SONG will be hosted at Boutique Hostal Salinas. Oh yes, we have a feeling this will be an evening to remember.
This event is one of the most loved and talked about on the island. Expect all things Urban and some very special guest DJs to see Urban In Ibiza off with an almighty bang.
