When it comes to massive events on the island, RESISTANCE nails every element that makes the ultimate techno party. Carefully curated line-ups, next-level production and mind-blowing atmosphere combined have made RESISTANCE's second season a monumental one.
Each Tuesday at Privilege has seen top names of underground electronic music grace the stages of both the Main Room and Vista Club. Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Woolford, Charlotte De Witte, Joris Voorn and Dense & Pika all rocked up and smashed sets for the opening.
Then over the hot Ibiza summer, big names like Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati all took command of the bustling party crowds - not to mention Carl Cox's appearances, which gathered one million viewers through the live broadcasts alone.
Earlier this week saw Eats Everything, Technasia, Stephan Bodzin (live), Henry Saiz and Coyu came out to play.
With a successful summer still in full swing, the brand's global ambassador Carl Cox himself had this to say: “RESISTANCE in Ibiza is the future. It's something we believe in.” When speaking about the effort that goes into a large-scale proper techno event, he added: “There are no corners being cut here at RESISTANCE”.
The final two dates of the season promise to deliver plenty more memorable experiences with Pan-Pot, Matador, Andres Campo, Patrick Topping and more hitting RESISTANCE on 4 September.
A huge closing party is planned for 11 September featuring Carl Cox solo as well as going back to back with Maceo Plex for the first time ever. Sasha | John Digweed, Patrice Bäumel, Dense & Pika, Skream, Josh Wink b2b Butch and Popof will also be on DJ duties at this grand finale.
