Having kept us on tenterhooks long enough, Defected has now confirmed the rest of its line-ups for Sundays at Eden in 2018. It was definitely worth the wait. Have a look.
Throughout August, Defected keeps its calibre of guests at the same high standard it set in the first half of season. G-House duo Amine Edge & DANCE make two appearances, as do Defected radio hostess Sam Divine and Radio 1 tastemaker Danny Howard.
Danny's colleague Monki also has a date as does Geordie spinner Jacky and DJ Haus. Two of the bigger names are Claptone and Riva Starr, while house legend Roger Sanchez is the marquee act on 12 August.
During the rest of the month, there's still room for more with Low Steppa, Purple Disco Machine and Scott Diaz.
As we head into the final quarter of the season, September keeps the big names coming. Amine Edge & DANCE, Danny Howard, Claptone, Sam Divine, DJ Haus and Low Steppa are all back.
Label favourites Franky Rizardo, Luke Solomon, Dario D'Attis and the governor himself, Simon Dunmore, all have their turns, too. Meanwhile, Ms Divine's D-Vine Sounds lieutenant Jess Bays also plays and Melé appears twice over consecutive weeks.
Bass specialist Shadow Child is the notable name for 9 September.
If you want some legends, then few have made a bigger contribution to house music's heritage than Derrick Carter and Todd Terry. Derrick lands on 23 September, while Todd is back on 30 September.
There's just the one party in October – the closing party – on 7 October.
Much like the opening, Mambo Brothers Alan & Christian Anadon are invited down. They are joined by two acts who have been pillars of the entire campaign, so it's only right they get to shut it down. Amine Edge & DANCE and Danny Howard are the men in question.
Naturally, Defected's own Simon Dunmore and Sam Divine are also involved, plus the headline slot is reserved for house royalty in the shape of Dennis Ferrer. As if the closing won't be magical enough, this is his only Defected Ibiza show of 2018.
With every date now confirmed until the end of the season, it's plain to see that Defected is strong week in, week out.
Sure to be a roadblock whichever date falls on your trip. See below for further details and tickets.
