elrow announces debut compilation CD 2017

Cr2 Records set to release the soundtrack that fuels elrow madness.

If any residency is kicking some serious arse in 2017, it's elrow and very soon you'll be grabbing a taste of it wherever you please as the Spanish party is set to release its debut CD in August.

Set to land on respected UK label Cr2, you'll be getting an earful of the madness that's rocked Amnesia'a rooms over the last eight weeks. You'll be sitting with those earphones plugged in, volume cranked up to 11 and if you close your eyes, you might just be able to transport yourself to a place that's dominated by trapeze artists, stilt walkers, inflatables, confetti, bizarre props and incredible set designs. One minute you'll belting down Elvis Presley's microphone, and the next you'll be propping up an giant chicken on an inflatable boat through the crowd. It could get a little bit weird, and don't we just like that.

You've got to give mention to elrow's dance floor chaos, but that aside, the Barcelona-born fiesta is all about the music too. Their debut 2 x CD and digital download mix is the beginning of a landmark series, with both CDs being presented by elrow residents Toni Varga, De La Swing, Marc Maya and George Privatti. Included in there are tracks from Melé, Bontan, Route 94, Max Chapman, Dennis Cruz, Waze & Odyssey and special exclusive tracks from George Privatti and Eddy M, Versus, Reelow, Di Chiara Brothers, Cal Johnstone and Cloonee.

Cr2 Founder Mark Brown says: “I have been following the progression and rise of elrow since their first parties in Barcelona and Ibiza as a fan, DJ and label owner. elrow is one of the few brands that has remained true to their original concepts, creating the ultimate clubbing experience and providing forward thinking electronic music along with sensational production. I am excited to be releasing the first ever official elrow album, bringing together two family run independent businesses that are both full of passion for underground dance music."

Released on Friday 4 August, you can pre-order and listen here.
