Healing Ibiza Revitalised - new and refreshed

All you need is imagination.

With the theme of imagination Healing Ibiza launches Healing Ibiza Revitalized, which as the name suggests will see a refreshed new offering at the one-day festival taking place at Atzaró on Sunday 8 May 2016. This year's event is dedicated to Maralyn Mary Poskitt, one of Healing Ibiza's founders, who died last week. Maralyn was instrumental in the decision to use the event to give something back to the island and its people; healing and re-energising them.

The theme for this year is “Imagination,” where you are you are invited to imagine the world you would want to create for yourself on your healing journey.

The event is in aid of several Ibiza based charities, with AFFARES and Mojis Animal Sanctuary sharing the entrance fee donation of €10. This means the charities benefit from the day as much as you do.

Healing Ibiza Revitalised opens its doors at 11am followed by its opening ceremony at 12am, designed to set the stage for the day. There will be healing, readings, coaching, creative and interactive workshops. Expect over one hundred healers based around the "Healing Garden" plus an immersive healing zone and market where visitors can learn quick tips or take part in the group's healings and workshops.

There are meditation and drum circle workshops, an indoor area for kids to play and an outdoor family creative zone, plus healing yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Music comes courtesy of the Ibiza House Orchestra who will be performing some of Ibiza's favourite house anthems from 9pm to culminate the day's activities. The band includes some of the island's best music talent, including Mike Wake, Nell Shakespeare and Alex O'Brien.

For a fresh new way at looking at your life and finding your creative side, this event seems to have it all covered.

Maralyn Mary Poskitt remembered: This year Healing Ibiza Revitalised will dedicate the entire festival to Maralyn, with special words dedicated to her instrumental role in ensuring Healing Ibiza would support, nurture and heal the island. Maralyn had a firm belief: that if you created a business only to make money, it would be sure to fail. Maralyn always counseled aiming for the highest good; one should then approach any venture only with good intentions, offering the best service possible. The rest would take care of itself - the universe would provide. This vision still runs through the essence of Healing Ibiza today. We hope Maralyn's influence will be felt for a long time to come.
