The month of May is finally here, the month the island properly kicks into gear with opening parties, festivals and the water gets to a point where swimming isn't going to humiliate your manhood. The Ibiza Rocks bar, located on the beach front in San Antonio has taken the winter shutters down and fired up the cookers so we can all enjoy their famous chicken, side and drink deal, a cocktail or what they are billing as their best events schedule yet.
Over the course of the season the bar will host many pre-parties for some of the biggest parties on the island, including Pacha, Cream, Together, Es Paradis and Amnesia. You can expect special live performances with Ibiza Rocks, exclusive DJ sets, stand up comedy nights (Russell Kane 7th July) and plenty of World Cup football action on a new, more massive LED screen. FOOTBALL NA NA NAA!
Previous guests have included Shy FX, Skrillex, Disclosure, Jake Bugg, 2manydj's and Miles Kane and taking a look through the line-ups for the brands involved in previous years, Ibiza Rocks and We Are Rockstars you can be sure the place is well worth checking out this season.
The weekly schedule will see Mondays host the pre-party for Ibiza Rocks and Pacha's new party - Ibiza Rocks House at Pacha. Tuesdays will show the pre-party for Together at Amnesia whilst Wednesdays will of course be all about the Ibiza Rocks gigs with pre and after parties. On Thursdays, Cream will host their pre-party once again, and the 'working week' is finished off with the We Are Rockstars pre-party and after party. The weekend will have Propoganda on Saturday nights and Sunday has something a little different with Rockaoake...
The venue is open every night until 1st october, from 11am until 4am, with food served until 11pm.
The Playa d'en Bossa branch of the Ibiza Rocks Bar opens on 23rd May, with a fine selection of food and drinks and a large screen to watch sports too.
