Easter weekend was a big one for Ibiza, in particular Ibiza town, with many of the clubs hosting extended and improved schedules of parties in celebration of what is considered to be the warm-up for the clubbing season. Defected stepped in quite late on to host Booom! on the Friday night for a free party and all reports say it was a quality affair.
It was revealed several weeks ago now that Defected would be moving their main party to the Tuesday night slot, going head-to-head with Carl Cox at Space, Together at Defected at Flower Power over the road at Pacha. Defected in true defiance though have proclaimed to have one of their strongest seasons to date in the pipeline for 2014 with lineups waiting to be dropped on the masses.
For now though, we have the lineup for the Defected opening party on Tuesday 20th May - making this one of the earliest openings on the island. On the night we will have Guti performing live, fresh from the release of his latest alternative masterpiece 'Rompecorazones', remixer of Copyright's 'My Desire' dancefloor bomb Noir, man of the moment and with a forthcoming release on Defected Oliver $, house music lover Secondcity and Defected resident Sam Divine.
Lineups for the rest of the season will drop soon, but expect names like Masters at Work, MK, Guti, Oliver $, Noir, Sam Divine and Simon Dunmore.
