This week Space sees the return of an Ibiza legend as Carl Cox resumes business on Tuesday 17 July.
Tuesday night is a busy night here
in Ibiza with Kissdafunk (El Divino), Armada (Amnesia), Defected (Pacha) and
Gatecrasher (Eden) all putting on some rather big parties to say the least.
However, talk of the town this last week has all been about Space – or more accurately, Carl Cox at Space.
One of the most popular nights in Ibiza, Carl Cox draws in his own crowd of fans as well as the techno-heads looking for some quality music. As far as opening parties go, this one
should be up there with the best.
Cream was sensational last week and this week once again sees a super line-up for both trance and house lovers.
On Thursday 19 July the main room at Amnesia will witness the return of Eddie Halliwell, fresh from a storming set at Judgement Sunday, Ferry Corsten and top trance duo Above & Beyond.
Top line up indeed, but for those looking for something a little different, the terrace this week will feature a dj set from The Klaxons, plus one of our favourite dj’s – the lovely Annie Mac of Radio 1 (pictured below).
Friday usually means a trip to Manumission at Privilege and on Friday 20 July, we’ll be there to see exclusive resident Tom Middleton, supported by Simian Mobile Disco (below), thrashing out a rather eclectic set of party tunes.
This year the Manumission show is really fun and definitely one night worth visiting over here.
Still at Privilege, Meganite is now well under way and if you’re in need of a techno fix then
Mauro Picotto is the man you ought to see this Wednesday 18 July, ably supported by Misstress Barbara and Marco Carola.
To many techno fans, Sven Vath is God – and if you make it to Cocoon
at Amnesia on Monday 23 July, you can see why. A full house of clued up and absolutely up-for-it clubbers combine to create one of the best party atmospheres in
Ibiza. And the music isn’t that bad either !
Also on Monday 23 July,
but something for the house fans amongst us, is Milk’n’2 Sugars at El Divino. Now
in it’s second year in Ibiza, this is a night where the music is king.
This week Mousse T and CJ Mackintosh are in the house to drop the tunes.
Last – but definitely not least – we’ll once again be at the best club in the world, Space for We Love Space on Sunday 22 July.
Each week offers a first class line-up at We Love…and this week our pick of the lot would be Steve Lawler, Jeff Mills and Miss Kittin.
However, with so many rooms and dj’s at Space you’ll find great music wherever you go !
