Hotter Summer for Ibiza 2008?

Summer's well and truly here

Summer's well and truly here after one of the wettest Mays we've ever had. Weathermen say that temperatures in that month were completely normal and that it just felt cold because of all the rain.

The Balearic Meteorological Centre is, however, predicting hotter temperatures than average this coming summer. They say that nothing is completely certain in long range weather forecasting, but all the signs – a hotter drier April followed by a wet May and early June - point to the normal average temperature of 25 degrees centigrade being surpassed by at least one degree.

So remember to slap on plenty of sun cream and rub it in really well before you hit the beach.
