Some astounding facts have emerged in the local rags this week so without further ado, here they are.
San Jose has the largest number of tourist accommodation places on the island, and whilst Santa Eulalia has more hotels than San Antonio, it has less beds. The deduction being that Santa Eulalia Hotel clients have more space than their San Antonio counterparts.
The Islands' Chamber of Commerce has over 14,500 registered business members, of these, 2,295 are bars, cafes and restaurants. Should every resident go out for a bite to eat and a drink at the same time there would be 49 people in each establishment should they distribute themselves evenly.
