Ever wondered what happens to the lively bars of the West End of San Antonio when the tourists go home at the end of October? Obviously some of them just hibernate for the low season but others have a complete change of character.
Take for example the bar Simple, one of San An's oldest and best-known bars, which has now become a meeting place for the island's Jazzmen thanks to an initiative by the musicians themselves and San Antonio's Deputy Mayor (and bar owner) Joan Pantaleoni.
From now on until spring, Thursday and Sunday nights at Simple will be the domain of young up and coming Jazzers while Fridays and Saturdays host the more established musicians in what should be a great alternative venue to the now defunct Arteca club in Ibiza. Yeah.
