We've just received an official statement of the people behind the Ibiza 123 Rocktronic Festival, confirming a rumour that was doing the rounds on the island lately. Even though the festival was originally confirmed to happen on the last weekend of July this year, it's not happening this summer in the end.
Apparently there were many reasons coming together, leading the team to the decision not to go forward with it this year. It is although planned to continue with the project in 2014, so here's hoping for a second edition of the festival that first took place at the start of July 2012 on San Antonio's sunset strip with memorable performances of Lenny Kravitz, Elton John, Sting and some of the world's most famous DJs such as David Guetta and Luciano.
