Every season, the International Music Summit ushers in the start of summer with a programme of events that challenges conceptions of the dance music industry, inviting us all to ponder the direction of its future while simultaneously basking in its glories. This year, the return of IMS's Back2Live concept proves that once again, we can expect more of the same.
Always eager to champion those who've successfully broken through the live electronic scene, Back2Live is an opportunity for the best live performers to showcase their unique talents. In 2016, the bill will be fronted by none other than master of his craft, Stimming, who'll be on-island to perform his high-concept album, Alpe Lusia. Also on hand to delve into experiments in sound will be Sea Bed and Szjerdene, as well as two UK bands in the form of Delamere and Our Future Glory. So over the course of the night you can expect a magical amalgamation of electronic sounds and raucous indie strings.
You'll find this hotbed of action happening at Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday 26th May, and with free entry being offered to all, you've no excuse not to check out some of the finest live music the industry has to offer.
