Finally we have a real, juicy piece of confirmed news we can share with you regarding Ibiza's International Music Summit for 2015. Ooh and it's good. We can now announce the artists playing the famous IMS Grand Finale parties, which take place at one of the most beautifully located dance floors in the history of ever, the old town of Dalt Vila.
Ascend the winding streets of the old town until you reach a picturesque plateau almost at the crest of the hill, with panoramic views of Ibiza town on all sides and a sunset to boot. There you will find the following artists smashing your ears a new one...
On Thursdays, welcome (in alphabetical order) Luciano, Pete Tong, Solomun, Sven Väth and Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons (live) to the IMS 2015 fold. As you can see, absolutely no filler here. Well established, uiversally loved, and highly talented DJs all; we're especially excited about the return of Sven Väth (for whom short sets like this are a rarity) and Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, who released a very creative EP last year which you can check out here. Not to pass over Luciano, Pete Tong and Solomun of course, who have each done so much to shape the musical landscape of Ibiza.
Then on the Friday, it's an all-out party with a great selection of artists which will appeal especially to (but by no means limited to) the younger UK crowd. Throw some shapes to Rudimental (live), MK, ZHU, Kidnap Kid and Thalab. Rudimental tore Space's discoteca a new one with their live shows last summer, whilst MK has practically taken over the island of late. Then there's some fresher talent to break in with ZHU, Kidnap Kid and Thalab - and what a place to do it.
Tickets are 45€ for one evening, or 80€ for the two-day combo ticket, available now from Spotlight. This is a unique event in the season and in fact the world, occuring at the start of a terrific opening party bender that will leave even the bravest ravers in bits.
We will also be running a competition, with 5 two-day IMS Grande Finale passes up for grabs! Watch this space - comp details released very soon.
