If you're an Ibiza regular you will no doubt have seen ant posters, billboards and even black-lycra-bodysuited people lurking around every corner of the island for the last couple of years. The Ants colony takeover has been substantial and despite serious attempts to stop the outbreak at source the infestation has spread across the island and has now gone world wide. The United Nations have been informed of the outbreak and rest assured everything is being done to thoroughly enjoy every minute of it.
The colony calls Ushuaïa their home on Ibiza from 31st May until 27th September on Saturday nights and they boast residents of the highest calibre, such as Andrea Oliva, Uner and Los Suruba. Their opening party is going to be massive, that is assured, with a line-up consisting of all the residents and number 1 scouser - Yousef. One special guest is yet to be announced too.
We now have four of the line-ups in total, from the 31st May until 21st June. Artists involved will be Hot Since 82, Deetron, Andrea Oliva, Uner and Los Suruba on 7th June, Maya Jane Coles, Andrea Oliva, Tapesh, Los Suruba and The Mekanism on the 14th June. Lastly, on 21st June we have Ants presents La Familia with Joris Voorn going back-to-back with Nic Fanciulli, Andrea Oliva, Koölsch, Breach and Hector. Massive!
Tickets are on sale now, and don't forget the party starts at 3pm this year. So get down early to enjoy a different side to Ushuaïa with the party starting at the back, then shifting to the main stage when the sun sets and things get serious.
