Special Offers, events, hotels, villas, club news, things to do, even fashion advice - it's all here, each week, every week for the Ibiza Summer Season.

So, it begins. To many, Ibiza is about great music, amazing beaches, stunning resorts, endless sunshine and a sea so clear you find yourself actually stepping into one of those amazing postcards that everyone sends home. Today, IMS (International Music Summit) starts and the buzz has reached a greater pitch than I've seen before. Even our head of Clubbing, who normally takes everything in his stride, seems particularly impressed by the line-up.

When it's not about the music, we've checked out island restaurants (eyes open for later in the week when we review Sa Flama, San Antonio), an all-day retreat experience and of course, found a few great Special Offers for those who really need to get away and come stretch out beneath the glorious blue skies and soak up the sunshine.

Ibiza awaits, with the warmest of welcomes –

Things to Do: Access – Mind, Body and Soul

Access Mind Body and Soul

After all the partying, an all-inclusive day of rejuvenating treatments by Access – Mind, Body and Soul seemed too good an opportunity to pass up. A beautiful finca in the countryside, wholesome (and tasty, we must admit!) food and a range of treatments available ensured our reviewer was feeling fully recharged and raring to go. See Retreats – Access Mind Body and Soul for details.

Fashion Tip of the Week: The Great Gatsby

Ibiza Fashion Tip of the Week

“I like large parties. They're so intimate. At small parties there isn't any privacy.” - The Great Gatsby

With the recent release of Baz Luhrmann's adaption of The Great Gatsby expect lots of 1920's inspired fashion.

Gentlemen, channel the Gatsby with a classic straw boater. Look to the original purveyors of Fitzgerald's' clothes , the Brooks Brothers. Keep menswear lighter and brighter. Ladies, avoid getting in a fancy dress flap. Keep sparkle to a minimum. Accessories are the easy way to this look. A feathered or embellished headband looks great even with jeans. Wear drop waist dresses with edgy heels.

Clubbing News:

Ibiza Club tips of the Week

Stivi, Head of Clubbing, and team are raring to go - check out the link - some inspiring suggestions!

"Well then, here we go again - the Ibiza clubbing season is officially launching this week and for the team and I this means it's time to change our body clocks a good few hours forward. Gone are those winter months when I sometimes woke up to the sunrise; until the start of October it will more likely be the last thing I see before I go to bed! :)

The IMS International Music Summit is in full swing and tonight's the first of the two parties up in Dalt Vila. If you're in Ibiza, do not miss it for anything in the world. The setting alone is extraordinary but this year, the line ups for both days are the best I've ever seen since I started covering the IMS.

Of course there's a lot happening over these days, so I recommend you to have a read of our Ibiza Opening Week Guide to get the lowdown. Ibiza Sonica is also broadcasting live from various locations, so you still get some Ibiza music if you can't make it for the openings. We'll dance for you in the meantime..."

For and on behalf of the team at Ibiza Spotlight, we wish you and yours a truly fantastic summery weekend!
